Registration

Please make sure you join or renew your membership with NASSR, as you must be a 2015 NASSR member in good standing (or a member of GER or JAER) to attend the conference. Information on NASSR memberships is available on NASSR’s “How to Join NASSR” page.

Deadlines
Early registration deadline: July 5, 2015
Late Registration begins: July 6, 2015

Registration Fees REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
Full-Time Faculty: $185 CAD ($210 CAD after July 5)
Part-Time / Graduate Student: $90 CAD ($115 CAD after July 5)

GST: Please note that a necessary 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST) will be added to your registration total (including any optional events you choose). However, no additional transaction or credit card fees will apply.

Banquet BANQUET TICKETS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE
The conference banquet will be held at the conference hotel on the evening of Saturday, August 15. Tickets are $65 CAD and must be purchased by August 1, 2015. The banquet will be buffet-style and will feature vegetarian and other options.

Canadian Museum for Human Rights Talk & Tour TICKETS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
There will be a lecture by senior researchers at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR), with a guided tour to follow, on the evening of Friday, August 14. Tickets for this optional event are $15 CAD and must be purchased by August 1, 2015.

Hudson’s Bay Company Archives Tour HBC TOURS ARE NOW FULL
Planned tours of the Hudson’s Bay Company Archives will take place on August 12, 2015 (one day prior to the conference). Two tours are scheduled free of charge, one at 3 p.m. and the other at 4 p.m., each lasting approximately 45 minutes. Reservations are required, as space is limited.  Due to staffing requirements at the Archive, we cannot accept reservations after July 30th.
 

HOW TO REGISTER

To register for the conference and purchase tickets for optional events, complete the online registration form here or below. All credit card transactions will be processed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to current exchange rates. Please remember to use your billing address on the final payment page.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM

You will receive two automatic emails in response to your completed registration: a purchase receipt and a confirmation email.  However, using the “Print Page” button on the payment confirmation page might serve as a better receipt for accounting purposes.

Cancellations and Refunds
Due to financial commitments with the conference hotel, we will not be able to refund registration fees. Please be sure of your commitment to attend before registering.
